"WWE SmackDown" wrapped up its latest taping from Manchester, New Hampshire, with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns opening and closing the show.

MizTV

Another "SmackDown" and another MizTV segment. Intercontinental Champion The Miz and his wife Maryse start the show with special guest Reigns, promoting his main event match against AJ Styles at "WWE Payback" this Sunday. The segment eventually ends with Miz verbally attacking Reigns and the latter sending the former over the top rope. It's later announced Reigns will fight against The Miz in the "SmackDown" main event.

A "League" No More

The League of Nations, like the actual organization, has failed. The League of Nations (Alberto Del Rio, Rusev and Sheamus) lost to Cesaro, Sami Zayn and United States Champion Kalisto. The loss was not by pin or submission but instead each League member walked out on each other, first Del Rio, then Rusev and finally Sheamus walked away from the ring -- which gave a count out win to Cesaro, Kalisto and Zayn.

Later backstage, the League of Nations officially break up.

In singles competition, Baron Corbin defeated Damien Sandow.

Ambrose Asylum

As if the WWE didn't have enough talk segments, "SmackDown" also featured the Ambrose Asylum with guests Natalya and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte with Ric Flair. The women spoke and promoted their "WWE Payback" match, which will have WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart at Natalya's corner.

NXT Alums in Action

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day appeared for the next tag-team match. While New Day sat with commentary, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. The Vaudevillains watched from the stage.

Apollo Crews would defeat Stardust in a rematch from "Monday Night Raw."

Backstage, Goldust and R-Truth had another segment about possibly becoming a tag team. Truth teased teaming with Tyler Breeze to become The Gorgeous Truth.

Main Event

Reigns defeated The Miz, while AJ Styles was ringside. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows later attacked Reigns as Styles simply watched. The Usos appeared to make the save for Reigns, then Styles got physical. The show ends with Styles being distant from Anderson and Gallows.

"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on the USA Network.
