Tamara Fernández, a Miss World hopeful, claims that being a mother to a 2-year-old girl cost her the Miss Argentina crown.

According to Fernández, she had her pageant crown revoked because it is against pageant regulations to be a mother.

However, the beauty queen says that she never hid the fact that she had a child from the pageant organization and that they knew all along.

The model's claim is made clear and supported when a look at Fernández's Facebookaccount proves that she has shared several photos of her child over the years.

The 24-year-old, from Neuquén, Argentina, would have gone on to participate and represent Argentina in the Miss World competition.

While many are upset about the scandal, Fernandez revealed in a post on Facebook that she is being called a liar and wants people to understand that she is telling the truth.

The organization has yet to comment on the scandal and, while they removed Fernández's photo from the official pageant page, they have yet to replace her.
