Eminem teased fans with a new music video for "Headlights" featuring Nate Ruess, off his multi-platinum-selling eighth studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2"; he is set to release the video this Mother's Day, May 11.

The Detroit rapper took to his Instagram account to make his latest announcement, saying that Spike Lee is involved with the upcoming visual.

"#Headlights video coming this Sunday," he wrote in the caption following the image.

Eminem also Instagrammed a snapshot of himself posing with the "Do the Right Thing" film director just last month.

"Spike came out to The D for the 'Headlights' video... Coming soon," he captioned the photo.

It is very appropriate and meaningful for Marshall Mathers to release his new video on Mother's Day since "Headlights" features his apology to his mother, Deborah Nelson-Mathers. The song is the complete opposite to his previous tracks, "Cleanin' Out My Closet" and "My Mom," as he is no longer dissing her and raps in a more mature perspective.

"I'm sorry mama for 'Cleanin' Out My Closet,' at the time I was angry," Em raps on the track. "Rightfully maybe so, never meant that far to take it though, 'cause / Now I know it's not your fault, and I'm not making jokes / That song I no longer play at shows and I cringe every time it's on the radio."

"I went in headfirst," he continues on the record. "Never thinking about who what I said hurt / In what verse / My mom probably got it the worst / The burnt of it, but as stubborn as we are / Did I take it too far? / 'Cleanin' Out My Closet' and all them other songs / But regardless, I don't hate you 'cause ma / You're still beautiful to me, 'cause you're my mom."
