The International Champions Cup kicks off its fourth edition on Friday as Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund face off.

The two sides will also do battle with Manchester City for the top prize in the Chinese bracket of the tournament.

Manchester United won the tournament two years ago when it was still played on one continent. The team did not compete in 2015.

Manchester's New Look

Jose Mourinho's side is off to a solid start winning 2-0 in a match against Wigan Athletic. There has been much talk about the team's possession play in that game, indicating somewhat of a shift for Jose Mourinho and his more defensive tactics.

There has also been plenty of speculation on Wayne Rooney's position with the club with the rise of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede will likely get some time during this tournament to start delivering on his promise to be a "God" at Manchester United.

Rooney has been on the decline for the better part of two years. Despite being the team's captain his place in the side seems to be fading and he might find himself outside the bubble at this point this season.

Borussia's New Players

On the other side of the ledger is a Borussia Dortmund side that will be decidedly different from the side that played a year ago. The team has already lost three key stars in Mats Hummels, Ilkay Gundogan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. To offset the loss the team has invested in eight players including Sebastian Rode, Marc Bartra, Ousmane Dembele, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Raphael Guerreiro.

Prediction

Manchester United wins 1-0.

Start Time

The game kicks off at 8 a.m. EDT and can be viewed on ESPN Deportes or the Watch ESPN app.
