Carmelo Anthony was still dripping sweat after scoring a team-high 19 points in Team USA's 110-66 demolition of Nigeria Monday night when he found the energy to fire off a warning salvo for all the teams headed to Rio for the 2016 Olympics.

"As a team, I think you're going to see a much different team over there," he said after the Americans had finished off a four game exhibition schedule that saw them blitzed their competition by an average of 43 points.

Later this week, the team is scheduled to fly to Brazil, where they play six preliminary round games in nine days before the start of the quarterfinals. Coach Mike Krzyzewski and Co. open against China on August 6, a team they beat last month by an average of 50-points in two exhibitions.

"We're a talented team, it's about just finding a rhythm," said forward DeMar DeRozan, who chipped in with 13 points in the rout over Nigeria.  "We find rhythms later in the first quarter, in the second quarter. Now it's about just starting from the gate."

"It's off, hopefully, to a gold medal," added Krzyzewski.

On the women's side, the expectations are much the same for the five time defending Team USA champs. Behind the likes of Diana Taurasi, Tamika Catchings, Maya Moore, Brittney Griner and Elena Delle Donne the Americans closed out a 4-0 exhibition run heading to Rio.

The women open play in Rio against Senegal on Sunday, August 7, riding a 41 game winning streak.
