“The Big Bang Theory” returns to CBS in fall 2016 with more laughs and romance from the nerds in Pasadena. Simon Helberg tells CBS that “The Big Bang Theory” will continue on after Season 10 despite rumors that say it is the show's last run.

“We’re having a good time doing the show. I think we’ll keep going if people will have us,” Helberg told Stephen Colbert on “The Late Show.”

The actor for BBT’s “Howie,” admits that he almost passed up his role because he was filming for “Studio 6.” Although the people he worked with were really great, people were not watching the show so he had to make a shift in his career.

“I said, I didn’t want to do nerd anymore, I’m going for sexy now,” Helberg said of the Engineer role. Ten seasons later, his character is married and expecting a baby.

Howard and Bernadette

Howard and his wife Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Raunch) are excited for their new bundle of joy, but rumors say they will lose their baby.

Speculation is that Bernie will experience issues with her pregnancy in “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 which will result in losing the child.

Showrunners have not confirmed the rumors.

Executive producer Steven Molaro says the Wolowitz’ are expecting a baby. That does not mean they will enjoy the little guy or gal for long, but it does give hope that fans will meet an addition to the family.

Leonard and Penny

Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) will re-new their vows in front of family and friends after eloping a year ago.

Penny’s Family

Penny’s mom and brother are coming to Pasadena for the reception.

Katey Sagal from “Sons of Anarchy” will play Penny’s “neurotic” mother while Jack McBrayer from “30 Rock” will play her ex-convict brother.

How will the career criminal get along with his straight as an arrow brother-in-law?

Leonard and Sheldon Become Step Brothers

Leonard’s parents are already in town and so is Sheldon Cooper’s (Jim Parson) mom Mary
(Laura Elizabeth Metcalf).

In “The Big Bang Theory” Season 9 finale, Leonard’s dad Dr. Alfred Hofstader (Judd Hirsch) and Sheldon’s mom grabbed a night cap since they were staying at the same hotel. The next morning, both of them had their phones off.

Did the parents hook up? If so, will Leonard and Sheldon become step brothers?

“The Big Bang Theory” returns to CBS on Monday Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. Tune in to find out.
