Asian American Culture in “Fresh off the Boat” Season 3

Producers will also explore Asian American culture in “Fresh off the Boat” Season 3. Visiting Taiwan will give the boys – Eddie (Hudson Yang), Emery (Forrest Wheeler) and Evan (Ian Chen) – a sense of their Asian heritage.

“Now they’re in Taiwan, and even though Jessica and Louis were born there, the boys weren’t — they were born in America and have never been out of the country,” Khan said.

“It’s that idea of not quite fitting into either place, of being both Asian and American,” she added.

Will the boys enjoy eating food from the famous food trucks in Taiwan? Or will they miss their fajitas and McDonald’s from America?
