Apple’s Tim Cook confirmed the iPhone 7 features while telling the world about the newest addition to the iPhone family. The new iPhone comes equipped with better cameras, water resistance, and more in the latest Apple phone upgrade.

“We have created the world’s most advanced smartphone – the best iPhone we have ever created. This is iPhone 7,” Cook said at the Sept. 7 Apple event.

iPhone 7 Latest Features

Upgraded Camera

Selfie-queens beware, you have a better tool! The new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus takes better photos at 7 megapixels and comes equipped with a new sensor. Both phones come with optical image stabilizer so you can take pictures like a pro.

Water Resistance

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models can be submerged in water (5ft) for up to 30 minutes...and survive. So no more wincing when you drop your phone in a toilet, or a puddle.

Stereo Speakers

Apple confirmed the news about a new iPhone with no headphone jack. The iPhone 7 will have stereo speakers, where users will use EarPods that are connected to the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus through Lightning cable. Apple provides a Lightning-to-audio-jack adapter for those who rather continue using regular wired headphones.

Longer Battery Life

Both models start with 32GB of internal storage unlike the previous standard 16GB and your battery will take a longer time to reach 1 percent.
