The Wednesday, Sept. 14 Powerball jackpot has ballooned to $222 million with a cash option payout of $150.4 million to a single game winner. There were no big prize winners in the Sept. 10 drawing, rolling the then $182 million jackpot over into Wednesday's game. Make sure to check at this page at 11 p.m. EST for a posting of Wednesday's winning numbers in real time.

The winning numbers on Sept. 10 were 3-17-49-55-68. The Red Powerball Power number was 8 and the Power Play number was 2x.

Plenty of Winners

In all, there were 823,700 winners of at least $4 each in the Sept. 10 game and a total of $7.3 million non-jackpot prizes won. Two tickets won $1 million each by matching all of the five numbers and these were sold in California and in Kansas. You can watch a live stream here of Wednesday night's draw.

Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26) Tickets cost $2 each.

Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $111 Million

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot has now grown to $122 million after there were no grand prize winners in the Sept. 10, $101 million game. With the jackpot rolling over, a single game winner in Tuesday's game (September 13) will have the option of walking away with $82 million cash option payment.

The winning numbers in Friday's game were 1-34-43-44-63. The winning Gold Mega Ball number was 11 and the megaplier was 4x.

3 players matched all five white ball numbers to win at least $1 million on the September 9 drawing. While two of the winning tickets that were sold in New York cashed the prize of $1 million, the remaining ticket that was sold in South Carolina cashed $4 million since it included the optional megaplier.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 259 million.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each.
