Germany and Northern Ireland face off in the World Cup Qualifiers 2018 on Tuesday.

Germany sits atop Group C with six points after opening its campaign with two victories. The team topped Norway 3-0 in its opening game thanks to two goals from Thomas Muller. Muller struggled at the Euro, scoring no goals throughout the tournament in his most frustrating international tournament to date. He would add another two goals over the weekend as Germany downed the Czech Republic 3-0.

Northern Ireland tied 0-0 with the Czechs in its first qualifying match before destroying San Marino 4-0.

Only one team manages automatic qualification for the World Cup from each UEFA qualifying group. The second place team must do battle with another second place team in a two-legged playoff for a chance to compete in Russia.

 Who Wins? Prediction

Germany won this matchup back in the Euro 2016 by the score of 1-0 despite some tremendous goaltending from Michael McGovern. Germany will win again, this time by the score of 2-0.
