The fifth installment of Michael Bay's transformers franchise is entitled "Transformers: The Last Knight".  Paramount has promised changes when this movie rolls into theaters and we already hear a lot about the plot, the castings, and the villain reveals.

A courtesy report of JoBlo claims that they not only have the list of new and returning characters but it also claims to know the whereabouts of Optimus Prime. Spoilers are ahead Transformers The Last Knight.

"The story for Transformers: The Last Knight will involve Optimus Prime  finding his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet, which he comes to find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to life, but in order to do so, he needs to find an artifact. And of course, that artifact is on Earth."

And if the report is true then we gonna see Cybertron and its gonna be a pretty big fixture in the movie. There are reports that a lot of the characters will be back like Bumblebee along with the Hound, Drift, Crosshairs, and also Dinobots who will play a larger role than their short turn at the end of the last installment of "Transformers Age of Extinction".

So basically Optimus will have to return to Earth just to get the mysterious artifact. The artifact that can fix Cybertron is now tied into King Arthur days and the magician knew as Merlin.

The studio hasn't confirmed anything yet but Anthony Hopkins surely joins the cast and it looks like he will be playing the "The Creator", one of the three "English" transformers.

"One such character is called "The Creator" who is said to have ties to the origins of the Transformers. A Transformer with an English accent named Cogman, whose alt-mode is an Astin Martin, will appear, as well as a Transformer named Squeaks whose alt mode is a Vespa."

Megatron will be the main villain in the movie. Josh Duhamel and Mark Wahlberg are returning for the film and will be joined by Isabela Moner, according to MovieWeb and Peter Cullen will be the voice of Optimus Prime . "Transformers: The Last Knight" will set release theaters on June 23 2017.
