Leonardo DiCaprio is currently making a negotiation with Paramount to produce and perhaps to star in a non-fiction story, an adaptation with Beth Macy's "Truevine:  Two Brothers, A Kidnapping", and "A Mother's Quest; A True Story" of the Jim Crow South.

Leonardo DiCaprio, an actor and a producer, has made a lot of successful movies. The 2nd highest grossing movie of all time that brought him to international fame is the movie "Titanic" with James Cameron. He also owns a production company, the Appian Way Production.

"Truevine: Two Brothers, A Kidnapping, and A Mother's Quest; A True Story of the Jim Crow South" is based on the true story that began in 1899 in Virginia of an American-African brothers with albinisms, a congenital disorder that removes pigment from the skin, hair, and eyes. Because of their different looks a man kidnapped them and forced them to work in a circus. Their mother spent 28 years of looking for them. When they have found, their mother sued the circus where they worked.

In 1928, George and Willie Muse decided to work back in the circus. They had perform under the names "the Ethiopian Monkey Men," "Eko and Iko," and "Ambassadors from Mars," and there are many photos of them together during those days.

DiCaprio sees a lot of potential with the movie because of its plot. This story could raise awareness to racial relations that many Americans still have issues today. Regarding their skin differences Beth Macy has raised this question that could be implied to all people with similar situation and the people that surround them. Where were the brothers better off, on the stage as stars or in poverty at home?

If the talk would prosper Leonardo DiCaprio would have difficulty on whose character he would play since he planned to have a starring role. The lead characters that could fit for him are the two brother characters with albino skins.
