It was in 2011 that Ubisoft first dabbled in producing when they created Ubisoft Motion Pictures. Their first project was the animated series "Rabbids Invasion," which aired on Nickelodeon in 2013. The series, currently on its third season, was based on the video games series of the same name produced by Ubisoft.

Along with the success of "Rabbids Invasion," Ubisoft came up with another short film this year - "The Division: Agents Origins." It's based on Ubisoft's open-world third-person shooter "Tom Clancy's The Division." Despite the inevitable knack of the game, most critics were quite favorable of the film adaptation.

It's highly certain that Ubisoft's titles will make through after the success of "Rabbids" and "The Division." There are rumors that there's a possible development for movie adaptations on either "The Division," "Ghost Reco," "Splinter Cell" and "Watch Dogs."
