Supervillain Hank Henshaw is alive and well and to the excitement of the "Supergirl" viewers, he has undergone cybernetic enhancements. The Monday episode 'The Darkest Place' saw the rise and transformation of Henshaw into the Cyborg Superman. This only means that Kara is up for a serious and forbidding situation.

The previous episode of "Supergirl" revealed that Henshaw was, in fact, saved and revived by Cadmus after his apparent death in a face-off with Superman. Cadmus tinkered Henshaw into a cyborg in order to execute his mission to exterminate aliens on planet Earth.

Meanwhile, Kara was forced to temporarily give up her superpowers to save Mon-El from Lillian Luthor. Powerless, she was vulnerable to the villains who obtained a sample of her blood to be used in much bigger and darker scheming yet to be exposed in the next episode of "Supergirl," titled "Medusa."

The blood of Kara enabled the Cyborg Superman to shape-shift into the protagonist and lure the Fortress of Solitude to tell him the hidden secrets regarding Project Medusa. Just like Project Myriad in the first season of "Supergirl," this does not spell right for the superhero.

Considering that Hank Henshaw has been transformed into a cyborg, the viewers might wonder whether he still has the smallest hint of humanity left in him. As per CinemaBlend, Cyborg Superman has his mind warped in the technological process. But whether his hatred towards aliens like Kara resulted from this transformation or from his very own experience, only the "Supergirl" original story could tell.

Aside from the nearing action-packed attack to "Supergirl" of the Cyborg Superman, fans should also watch out for the series' crossover with other DC comic-book "The Flash," "Arrow," and "Legends of Tomorrow."

Catch up "Supergirl," which airs every Monday at 8:00 pm ET on The CW and stay tuned for more exciting updates!
