HBO's newest science fiction series, "Westworld," has caught a lot of viewers in its first eight episodes premiered this 2016. With a stellar cast, many are thinking that such actors could be cut for Season 2, including Ed Harris. However, recent news revealed that the actor hinted viewers of return as Man in Black.

According to Business 2 Community, Ed Harris, the man playing the secretive titan industry and philanthropist Man in Black in "Westworld," revealed that he has been speaking with the creators of the show. Harris indicated that Jonathan Nolan, series showrunner, along with Lisa Joy, talked with him about the second season which would involve 10 episodes and said that Harris would be included. Fans of the show did expect that at some point, Harris' character would be killed since the character has explicitly made references about death.

However, the International Business Times still made comments on "how" will Ed Harris' character can return such as not being a guest but rather a host. Such idea would have come off from the previous interview, with Harris saying that "I think something happened to him at some point that this part of him that's very dark, very violent, all of a sudden he recognized this was a real part of him he'd never really lived with in his life outside, obviously repressed in civil society for many years and realized this is a part of myself I should check out and see where this takes me." He added that there is a deeper purpose for the Man In Black in "Westworld" than just killing.

HBO's "Westworld" has been renewed for a second season that is expected to premier in 2018 as indicated by Casey Bloys, HBO's programming president. Averaging at least 11 million viewers per episode, the show has been magnificent in the eyes of critics and is expected to deliver more entertaining episode after another.
