Google and Apple Inc. are two huge companies in the world that may not come together. Google supports Android while Apple is for IOS of course. Meanwhile, it's really an odd thing that Google brings its soothing Featured Photos screensaver to Mac!

In a report by Mashable Asia, Google launched its Wallpapers app on October 2016. These beautiful photos of various landscapes are readily available on your Android phone. On the other hand, it is now available as screensavers in Mac of Apple Inc.

Well, like any other screensaver, you may install it and it will be starting to display photos together with a digital clock and the photographer's name. It will be after a pre-set period of idleness.

On the other hand, the choice of imagery can be a little bit limited compared when using the Wallpapers app. By using Mac, you may only get images from Google+ members which are already curated set of photos. But if you are a person who loves to capture great photos, you may want your photos to be featured in these apps including Google Fiber and Chromecast devices. One thing that you just need to do is to share your amazing photos publicly on Google+. Also, if you do not want your works to be considered for the apps but you are sharing your photos publicly, you can turn the option off from the Google+ settings.

Meanwhile, based on Engadget, Chromecast and Google Fiber are now both available to keep anyone's Mac occupied as a screensaver. By this newly released Featured Photos screensaver, your Mac can be turned into a photography gallery which features some of the most highly rated photos.
