Dawson's Creek fans are likely to be disappointed after former star Katie Holmes ruled out the chance of DC reunion.

Appearing in Just Jenny show as quoted by EW, Tom Cruise's ex-wife stated that she and other DC casts were not going to have a reboot. She said they still see each other occasionally. Holmes previously expressed her enthusiasm about the reunion with DC costars in 2015. However, the fact shows the possibilities are far away to become the reality.

Even though there won't be a reunion with Dawson, Joey, Jen, and Pacey, a small reunion already took place last Saturday when James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams met at Jeff Bezos and Manchester By The Sea Holiday Party in Los Angeles, hosted by Matt Damon. They met after 13 years and they are still adorable as 13 years ago!

In April, Williams was asked about the possible reunion. And she stated the possibility was slim. Williams talked to Today co-host Savannah Guthrie about her role in Broadway's Blackbird. But, Williams added that sometimes there is a mini-reunion, sort of a private one.

Dawson's Creek was a popular TV drama series aired from 1998 to 2003. It is about a friendship starting from high-school to college. On DC, Van Der Beek played as main character Dawson Leery, Holmes as Joey Potter (Leery's best friend), Joshua Jackson as Pacey Witter and Williams as Jen Lindley, who moves to Capeside from New York.

After 13 years, some fans are wondering where those stars have been.

Williams, who was often nominated for several film awards, withdrew from the spotlight after the death of Heath Ledger in 2008 from the drug overdose. Williams had a daughter with Ledger named Mathilda and she often feels upset to know that her daughter never knows her dad, as quoted by Mirror.

While Holmes used to get married to Tom Cruise. They have a 10-year old daughter named Suri. After her divorce, there are some rumors that she secretly got married. But she denied the rumor.

Joshua Jackson announced that he and Diane Kruger split in July after 10 years of relationship.

Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly welcomed their fourth child last March. They named their daughter Emilia.
