Verizon started pushing out a new update to Google Pixel and Pixel XL units on its network. Carrying a build number of NMF26O, the update bring along several changes, including the latest Android security fixes.

The updates also includes a lot of bug fixes, earlier user couldn't retrieve their Visual Voicemail messages and were getting an error 9999 in some areas, this new update is going to resolve this bug.

The users were facing issues in Voicemail icon notification it was not displaying when a new voice message was received.

During inbound calls the screen of the device went to blue occasionally, but after the update this bug will also fixed.

Since launch, Pixel users have encountered several bugs, including with Band 4 and several camera issues. Notes are released that after the update it will resolve specific bugs and improve general connectivity. As already seen in OTA that rolled out in Canada, two new moves will allow the users to double tap to check phone and lift to check phone.

The official Google blog post announcing the update is live. In it, Google confirms that, yes, the Nexus 6 will get Android 7.1.1 as originally promised, and that devices in the Android beta program will receive an OTA to the release version of Android 7.1.1 soon. Aside from this, the update also gives you the ability to choose between cellular or WiFi as your preferred way of calling while roaming internationally.
