The Meizu M5 Note follows the companies M-series and it has been recently released in China. The M5 Note precedes the M3 Note which was also released this year but with bigger and better features including a big 4000 mAH battery.

Meizu M5 Note Specs

The Meizu M5 Note is 5.5" in size with a 1080p display with a 2.5D LTPS screen. It is 8.15mm thick and weighs 175g. According to The Verge, the Meizu M5 Note is reportedly thinner than the M3 Note but only by 0.1mm.

Meizu M5 Note houses a 4,000mAh battery, up to 4GB of RAM with a MediaTek Helio P10 chip and has an internal storage starting from 16GB to 64GB and are sold in variants according to different budgets. The M5 Note also has a 13MP rear camera which boasts a 1080p video recording capability along with a 5MP front shooter.

The M5 Note runs on Flyme 6.0 OS and a 1.8GHz Octa-core Cortex A-53 processor. The Meizu M5 Note also features a fingerprint sensor, a microSD tray, space for two SIMS and comes in a variety of colors including gold, gray, silver and metallic blue.

There are different price points for the smartphone but it is considered to be budget-friendly for its specs. The Meizu M5 Note with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage costs $130 while the 4GB RAM with 64GB variant costs around $217.

Indian Express reports that Meizu is considered a popular smartphone choice among Chinese consumers. Meizu President Aber Bai reveals that they have sold more than 20 million of their Note handsets since they launched their brand a few years ago. This did not include their preceding Note smartphones which have sold approximately seven million in total sales. There is no word yet if the Meizu M5 Note will be coming to Western shores.
