The upcoming AMD motherboard is said to be a high-end chipset AM4 based X370; the company will give a preview of the Zen based processors at the New Horizon event next week. The AM4 based X370 will arrive next year in the first quarter.

There will be three different AM4 desktop platforms that will be launched based on their quality of chipsets. The entry level is A320, the mid-level is the B350 and the high-end chipset the AM4 AMD X370 reported Game and Guide.

The AM4 X370 will support CPU and RAM overclocking, it will also consist of the features that are absent from AMD motherboards like DDR4 memory, M.2 connectivity, PCI-E gen 3, SATA Express and USB 3.1 Gen2.

The Zen based processor will be manufactured n Globalfoundries 14nm FinFET process with an eight core 16 thread design as reported on Digi Times. The New Horizon event is certainly focusing on AMD fans as they could experience the upcoming products of the company.
