Mars One delayed its highly unlikely Mars mission again to its projected timeline for starting a human colony on the planet. It was announced that the project will take another five years to take its course; the first two crews will be send to the red planet in 2031.

Previously the mission was said to be launched in 2026, apparently the reason behind this delay is because the roadmap needs to be adjusted in order to provide the Dutch based venture more time to raise money as per the Verge.

However, the project has been slower than expected, while the venture had promised people a chance to live on the planet the situation looks like it will take more time and there is no assurance for it to happen as per YAHOO.

The Mars One colony will surely take a significant amount of money and technological innovations for the project to work. The CEO Bas Landsdorp said that the entire Mars One team tried to stick to the original schedule but before that they need to successfully achieve this mission's roadmap.

For those who have dreamt of living on Mars they need to hold on to their dreams for a long time. The mission has been constantly shifting since its first announcement in 2012, it also may not be reasonable based on the report in 2014 by two MIT graduate students.

The missions that were planned by the venture have never changed but the dates have constantly changed and now the communications satellite is not going to launch until 2024.

From a financial standpoint it is also an aspect of funding as there is no estimate what will the Mars mission cost. Some experts have stated that it will cost more than billions of dollars and possibly even 1$ trillion. The CEO claimed that they will raise all the money through their reality TV show.

Living out of earth seems to be tougher than expected and there is no guarantee that it will take place even in the future.
