Pokémon GO has been receiving more and more attention with its recent updates. And to add more make things more interesting, game developer Niantic has shuffled Pokémon nests again, changing spawning points of several Pokémon.

Marking the eighth time since its launch on July, the nest migration took place on December 1st. This essentially moves the place where massive numbers of a specific Pokémon can be found. The migration is quite random, though, so not all nests may have been moved.

According to Heavy, players are using the site The Silph Road to help record the changes in Pokémon nests in the areas mentioned. Several nest changes have been reported already, like Charmander nests are now spawn points for Electabuzz, Omanyte and Kabuto, Pikachu can now be found on Psyduck's former nest, and so on.

Along with the nest migrations, the new 'Nearby' feature has been tweaked by Niantic through a recent update.  The update was released for the continental United States and several parts of Europe, with other regions expected to follow soon after. Along with the update, the developer announced that it will observe the feedback of the community regarding the feature, and will make modifications based on the feedback, Inquisitr reports.

At the moment, the feature has received mixed reviews from users of the app. While some appreciate the improvement of the tracker, many players pointed out its dependence on the Pokestops, in-game representations of real-world landmarks. While those in urban areas may enjoy this, those in rural areas, where Pokestops are few and far between, find it quite a chore. Some players report the tracker showing a "nearby" Pokémon in an inaccessible area. There are also times that Pokémon that are nearby do not appear in the tracker.

Pokemon GO is an augmented-reality game based on the widely-successful Pokémon franchise. Available for iOS and Android, it allows players to catch the titular creatures in a map based on real-world locations.
