Two teams heading in decidedly different directions will face off on Saturday when Manchester City visits Norwich City.

Manchester City sits in second place with 53 points and trails first place Arsenal by just two points. More importantly, City is tied with Chelsea for second and needs to pick up points if it has any hopes of winning the title this year. Chelsea is playing at home against Newcastle and will undoubtedly have an advantage. Arsenal is heading to Liverpool in a game where it could easily lose two if not all three points up for grabs.

Meanwhile, Norwich City has 24 points and is fighting to remain in the Premier League past this season. West Ham United has 22 points and Cardiff has 21; they are the 18th and 19th place teams in the league respectively. That means that a loss by Norwich coupled by wins from both of those teams could potentially push the Canaries into a relegation spot as soon as Sunday. It is also essential to note that Manchester City destroyed Norwich 7-0 at home earlier this year.

But this match is not as easy for Manchester as it seems. For all of their dominant performances at home, the Citizens have had a penchant for falling apart on the road. The team currently has a mediocre away record of six wins, two draws and four losses; Norwich has a home record of four wins, four draws and four losses.

"It's a very difficult game, it is very important the way the team reacts after the defeat at home," said Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, according to ESPN. "We play against a good team in Norwich, a team that tries to play, so we hope that we can win again.

"It will be absolutely different. They will want revenge for what happened here in Ethiad," he stated. "They have a good team that play good football, it is very important for us to continue playing the same way we are doing away because the last four games we won all of them."

Prediction: Manchester City wins 5-1.

Start Time: The ball starts rolling at 10 a.m. EST.
