Netflix In 2017: What’s Coming and What’s Going As New Year Comes

As New Year is only two weeks away, streaming content provider Netflix lets its viewers know what's coming and what's leaving in 2017. What are movies available? and what are leaving?

Netflix started as a small-DVD-by-mail service. Now the U.S-based company is the world's most popular streaming content provider. According to Statista, the numbers of Netflix paid subscribers worldwide were about 70 million, and 26.9 million of them were not in the U.S. Even in the U.S a survey by ClearVoiceResearch in 2015 showed that Americans spend more hours watching Netflix than television.

It is expected that the numbers of subscribers worldwide will reach more than a hundred million of non-U.S users in 2020.

So, what's new on this streaming service? There is a batch of original movies, TV shows, comedies, and classic stuff users have previously seen.

For superhero lovers, four classic Superman movies will be available on Netflix in 2017. In addition, comedies like Caddyshack, horror stuff "The Shining" will greet you too. For those who prefer to spend New Year's Eve at home, blockbuster actions such as "Braveheart", and legendary sci-fi acts like "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" can be the best choice as you wait for the clock strikes at 00.00 am welcoming 2017.

The streaming powerhouse also released its two original dramas. In the first week of 2017, subscribers can watch "Coin Heist", a story about a group of students who want to steal money to save a school. Then "Clinical", a story of a psychiatrist who tries to put her life back together, DigitalTrend reports.

Some new comedy stuff is ready to entertain you, including some stuff from popular names such as Jim Gaffigan and Jen Kirkman.
