There are only five games in the NBA schedule on December 15, as expected on Thursdays. One of the contests is between New York and the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State has made a remarkable improvement throughout the season, emerging as the most powerful team in the NBA. There are the great pillars like guard Stephen Curry and forward Kevin Durant in the team.

Knicks are under immense pressure due to guard Derrick Rose's condition; Rose had to leave the game on Tuesday in Phoenix after having back spasms, Heavy reported. His scope for playing on Thursday is left as a 'game-time decision'. The New York team has taken Brandon Jennings in place of Rose before, but in the absence of Rose Curry would be a big threat for the New York team.

15th December officially marks the trading date for players. Players who have signed deals during the summer, before the offseason, will be eligible for it. A few exceptions are there; these are the players who have submitted resignation to the team they were playing for with a hike of 20% and who are using their Bird rights or Early Bird Rights.

According to FoxSports, The only team from which there is no player on the December 15th list is the Oklahoma City Thunder. The season has been tough for the Thunders for back to back defeats. The fatigue of Russell and the injury of Oladipo have become big issues. But still, Sam Presti will probably intend to sign a deal with a team with a number of players, who qualifies to swap teams.

The Teams usually utilize a quarter of the season to establish their identity and portray their power. That benchmark is past, so the NBA franchises now have a clear idea and distinct opinion of the strong and weak points in each team. The clubs also have had an idea of the strength and weakness of their opponents.

The deadline for NBA trade is 23rd February. Some teams are planning to play past April to remain active.
