It's official! Skylar Astin has confirmed that he and his all-male acapela group the Treblemakers won't be in "Pitch Perfect 3." He posted a message in his Twitter account that creators of the movie are taking the story in a different direction. Fans of the movie are now wondering if the Bellas would get new rivals for the third "Pitch Perfect?" Will the movie still be aca-amazing now that the funny and talented boys are out of the picture?

Cosmopolitan has reported this sad news. Skylar Astin, who plays Anna Kendrick's love interest in the movie and the real life love of Anna Camp, announced this news over his social media account. No one actually predicted that this will happen especially when Fat Amy and Bumper got it on in the last "Pitch Perfect" movie. But all good things must end as they say no matter how painful it may be.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported that this news came out as a shocker for the actor since he was looking forward to the sequel of the movie right after the film was confirmed last year. Skylar even dished on how their story could continue especially when there was an unexplained reason why Jesse went away for a while. He said before that "I'd be interested to watch them take a fun direction with Jesse."

There is still no news who would match the Bellas this time with the boys gone. The Treblemakers were not actually a threat in "Pitch Perfect 2" with German acapela group Das Sound Machine threatening the girls for the international title.

But even with the Treblemakers gone, "Pitch Perfect 3" will still feature returning actors like Anna Kendrick, Hailee Steinfield, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp. As for new faces, there is no news yet if stars like Justin Bieber will do a cameo role. The pop singer has been rumored to be exchanging text messages with Rebel Wilson but all of these were disproved (sort of) by the Australian actress.

Elizabeth Banks will also co-produce "Pitch Perfect 3" so expect more fun and more laughs for third acapela movie which will premiere on December 22, 2017.
