Margot Robbie surprised her fans as she announced that she married her long time boyfriend Tom Ackerly. No one knew that the two lovebirds were planning to tie the knot except for a few close friends and family. There are also rumors that Margot Robbie could stop playing sexy roles such as the role of Harley Quinn if she plans to start a family soon.

Daily Mail reported Margot's secret wedding. The Australian actress kept mum over her wedding and only confirmed that she was indeed married to Tom with a photo of her stunning pear-shaped diamond wedding ring on her ring finger.

The ceremony was very private and was held in a huge property in Coorabell in Byron Bay. Only 50 guests were invited and it was said that even the guests only knew last minute where the ceremony would be held. Margot and Tom managed to keep the location secret by spreading the congregation across different places at the Gold Coast. They were picked up by a bus to take them to Byron Bay. Mobile phones and cameras were not allowed.

Mirror also reported about Margot's hush-hush wedding. The "Suicide Squad" actress wore an off-shoulder white gown with a lavish design that accented her slim figure. She wore her natural blonde hair back with a few strands framing her beautiful face. She was taken to the altar by her mother Sarie Kessler. Margot is estranged from her dad Doug.

Margot and Tom live as flatmates in London. They first met on the set of "Suit Francaise" in 2013. The wedding venue was said to be Margot's idea being raised at the Gold Coast in her grandparents' farm. Tom wanted a ceremony in London but gave in to his fiance's decision instead.

All the guests were asked to keep the wedding a secret however fans were keen on the actress as she was seen at the airport wearing a T-shirt that said "Say I do Down Under." The newly weds got engaged last summer but did not tell anyone when their wedding day would be.

And it looks like Margot Robbie won't let marriage come before her work as she is set to reprise her role as Harley Quinn in DCEU's "Gotham City Sirens." This movie is just one of the many superhero/super villain-themed movies DC is about to feature soon.
