The next smartphone flagship line from Samsung, the Galaxy S8 is rumored to have bigger and better specs. The South Korean company is reportedly doing their best to impress followers and fans with their new smartphone lineup following the Note 7 disaster.

There have been rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S8 line will no longer have the flat model. More specifically, the Galaxy S8 will feature Edge models seeing as how these did well in Samsung's sales since its introduction beginning S6 Edge.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S8 will have an 8GB RAM and will feature UFS 2.1 flash storage and an internal storage of 256GB. According to MobileNApps, the Galaxy S8 along with Galaxy S8 Plus will reportedly be 5-inches and 6-inches in size respectively. The S8 will sport a dual camera arrangement according to rumors. Furthermore, both smartphones will have curved screens.

Additionally, the Galaxy S8 will purportedly have different chips depending on where it is sold. For units in China and US, the smartphone may house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC while units sold in the home country may be using the Exynos 8895 chipset. The Galaxy S8 may also be shipped with Android 7.0 out of the box.

Gadgets 360 reports that Samsung's Galaxy S8 line has been delayed to April 2017 instead of February 2017. The rumors say that Samsung is trying to win back its consumers by making the Galaxy S8 line better to guarantee that it will launch with no hitches following their experience with the backlash of the Note 7 failing.

Samsung has not confirmed or denied any rumors regarding the Galaxy S8. All rumors will remain as they are unless Samsung releases a statement. There is no word yet for the official price range of the Galaxy S8 line.
