Nothing comes easy, not even for the stars of "Fifty Shades of Grey."

On Sunday, Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling novel, attended the BAFTA Awards; the actor was nominated for his role as serial killer Paul Spector in BBC's "The Fall." According to Belfast Telegraph, Dornan was a favorite to win against Luke Newberry for "In the Flesh," Dominic West for "Burton and Taylor" and Sean Harris for "Southcliffe." Dornan won the Irish Film and Television Awards' Best Actor in a Lead Role in Television for the part, as well as the Irish Film Board Rising Star award, earlier this year. This time around, however, Harris was named the winner, proving that although life has obviously been kind to the "Fify Shades of Grey" star, he doesn't get everything he wants.

On the bright side, this was Dornan and wife Amelia Warner's first time on the red carpet since they had a daughter in November, according to E! News, and both looked happy as can be.

Meanwhile, singer Rita Ora revealed that feeling like she belonged on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" set wasn't easy.

"Working on 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' I felt like an amateur in the background just watching and learning," she told Daily Star Friday at the Belvedere Vodka's Cannes Film Festival after-party.

Ora plays Christian's sister, Mia, in the movie. Her only other acting role was an uncredited part as a racer in "Fast & Furious 6."

"I'm not even going to sugarcoat it; of course I'm nervous [about 'Fifty Shades of Grey']," Ora told PopCrush. "It's my first movie, you know. A music video is so different to doing a movie. I was so scared of all the people on set, and [director Sam Taylor-Johnson] is so nice and she made me feel very comfortable."

Ora added that she loved the scandalous factor of James' erotic novel.

"But that's what attracted me to it even more," she said. "I mean, everybody has a different opinion, but for me, you know, shock value is what I remember."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
