The first behind-the-scenes images of FX's "Sons of Anarchy" season seven have been released, hinting Charlie Hunnam's brand new look as Jackson "Jax" Teller.

FX vice president of media relations Dominic Pagone took to his Twitter account to offer fans the slightest idea of the hit outlaw motorcycle club series' highly anticipated finale. "Last night was the first of 2 promo shoots; this was just with Charlie. I'll tease a few shots, but remember," he tweeted before adding, "So don't over-analyze the photos, don't speculate; just get excited for the start of Season 7! #SOAFX."

Although Pagone certainly does not give away any spoilers, his released photos feature Jax with a cleanly shaven, younger looking face. The first picture shows the "SOA" lead actor looking very much focused, reading the script. "And here he is, Mr. Charlie Hunnam @SonsofAnarchy #SOAFX," he wrote the following caption. Another photo showed Hunnam folding the script in half: "Now he's ready. @SonsofAnarchy #soafx."

The third snapshot of Charlie Hunnam sees him sporting the iconic leather vest, riding a motorcycle. "Of course there has to be riding. @SonsofAnarchy #SOAFX," Pagone wrote. The VP of media relations even joked by posting a photo of a bright spotlight beaming on Hunnam's face: "Ok, you get one spoiler: #Jax is radioactive the season. @SonsofAnarchy #soafx #hesreallynot."

In addition, creator Kurt Sutter announced the casting. However he did not reveal specifically who will be appearing in the forthcoming final season. "I don't want to announce, I don't want to steal publicity thunder, so I will wait until either the network or the actor issues some kind of statement," he said in a recent YouTube update. "WTF Sutter."

However, Sutter revealed that the characters will be in at least eight episodes or "probably more" and that filming will start on Thursday or Friday while the first table read will be on Tuesday, May 27. "We have some scheduling conflicts, so we're going to be, not necessarily crossboarding. But we'll be shooting a chunk of episode two in the middle of episode one. So we will have a big thorough read-through, we're going to read the first two episodes, then I'm going to tone the first two episodes together," he said.

"And then we'll shoot the two of them," he added. "We're not finishing simultaneously -- sometimes you'll have two episodes, and if a lot of the locations dovetail into each other, you'll crossboard them and shoot them together. I don't really like to do that, just because especially in a serialized drama where things happen sequentially, even though you don't shoot them in order, there's so much information in our episodes that it's best to keep them contained. The reality is that by episode three, I'll never have two scripts ready by the same time."

"Sons of Anarchy" season seven will air in September on FX.
