South Korean firm LG has slowly but steadily managed to stay in the ranks of some of the best smartphones that are manufactured every year. On the other side, the G5 didn't seem to be a worthy investment for buyers, LG must have to carefully tread into the competition again to make sure they are back into the competition. Now that the MWC(Mobile World Congress) is expected to begin shortly, all major smartphone manufacturers will make their presence known at the event.

After the debacle with the LG G5, the alarm bells surely should've been active for the South Korean firm. A new report from Softpedia speaks about how the new approach was innovative, but LG, on the other hand, failed to make use of the modularity for the phone. Even their next biggest bet the LG v20 didn't seem to take off as they'd expect. That said, LG will likely adopt a new traditional approach for 2017 for their two new products, the LG G6, and the V30.

As discussed earlier, LG will now primarily concentrate on the LG v30 instead of their 'flagship' the LG G6 even if the latter is expected to be announced at the MWC. Both the smartphones will certainly take a good amount of time to come out likely due to the fact that Samsung sealed an exclusive deal with Qualcomm to procure early batches of the Snapdragon 835 chips. Since the G6 is already planned for launch, it's fair that the 835 chips might be possible in the LG v30 per reports from the Phone Arena.

The memory capacity on the other side is rumored to be around 6GB that'll pair up with the SD835 for better and improved performance. The launch for the LG v30 might not be around the corner anytime soon due to the recent release of its current variant the LG v20.
