Chiquis Rivera may be coming into your homes every week.

It's rumored that the daughter of the late Jenni Rivera will be a judge on Miss Latina Universo, said TV y Novelas. But given her resume, Rivera should be right at home.

She has her own reality series (and has been in a few others), and she runs a blog with fashion advice. But people are already wondering if she is enough of an expert on beauty to be an effective judge. After all, the winner of this show will be entered into the Miss Universe pageant.

Rivera doesn't have the experience of more seasoned veterans, such as Lupita Jones and Osmel Sousa, who work on the Miss Universe franchise in Mexico and Venezuela, respectively.

The upcoming Telemundo show will be hosted by Maria Gabriela Isler, who is the 2013 Miss Universe. The contest will be for Latinos in the United States, who will get a chance to represent other Latinos in the Miss Universe contest.

"The MISS UNIVERSE® Organization has enjoyed a terrific partnership with Telemundo," said Donald J. Trump, who co-owns the MISS UNIVERSE® Organization with NBCUniversal. "The MISS UNIVERSE® pageant consistently delivers the highest ratings in the coveted Hispanic market and the MISS LATINA USA(TM) series puts a completely new twist on the competition. It will undoubtedly draw big numbers and we look forward to forging an even bigger relationship with Telemundo over the years to come."

There will be multi-city auditions that will judge possible contestants on "posie, physical attributes and personality."

Then, the contestants will move into a mansion and live together as they go through training. They will have modeling, acting, beauty, fashion and nutrition experts. There will be weekly eliminations until the winner is crowned. Of course, that's when the real challenge begins.
