"Durarara!" is a light novel series turned animated TV series by Ryohgo Narita. While a lot of fans are familiar with the characters like Shizuo and Izaya, Celty and the Yellow Scarves, a lot about how the anime came to be and some of the Easter eggs in the series are yet to be discovered. But thanks to "Did You Know Anime?," video featuring "Durarara!!" trivia recently released by The Anime Man, fans won't be left in the dark for long.

A "Did You Know Anime?" video was released featuring "Durarara!!" trivia, Japanator reported. The video was around 5 minutes long and was narrated by The Anime Man. The video discussed how Ryohgo Narita came up with the name "Durarara!!;" the creator said that he just thought about it during the time his editor was asking him for the title for marketing. Narita added that the name clicked especially with his boss since it sounded stupid and unique.

The "Durarara!!" trivia video also tackled about how the anime series had historical and modern references. Celty, the headless biker, is similar to the headless horseman in "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" while the Yellow Scarves worn by The Dollars in the series was similar to the rebellion in Ancient China where people wore yellow scarves on their heads. Meanwhile, modern references include Easter eggs scattered all over the series.

Narita, being the creator for "Baccano" peppered his work with characters from the series. In fact, the "Durarara!!" and "Baccano" universes seem to collide in some episodes as well. Titles, scenes and characters of "Baccano" pop out from nowhere in the first and second seasons of the TV anime version.

Ryohgo Narita is set to release a "One Piece" novel featuring Ace's story, Crunchyroll reported. This was revealed early this year and will be a part of the 20th anniversary of "One Piece Surprises" magazine. The serialized novel will feature Ace's departure from Mt. Colubo, the start of the Spade Pirates plus how Whitebeard Pirates came to be.

Aside from the Japanese anime series, "Durarara!!" a manga adaptation by Akiyo Satorigi was done in 2009 in the shonen magazine "Monthly GFantasy." Anime adaptation started in 2010 with season 2 in 2015. It is also available in PlayStation game titles.
