Angelina Jolie has a lot on her plate as she just finished producing "First They Killed My Father" and starring in a Mon Guerlain ad. She has completed these projects while caring for her six children and dealing with a very messy divorce from Brad Pitt. She has one message for Cambodians who were subjects in her latest film about the genocide during the Khmer Rouge regime; she wants her film to spark a feeling of pride not hate.

Angelina Jolie said in an exclusive interview with BBC that she hopes her film doesn't bring up hate and blame, People reported. The "Tomb Raider" star said that Cambodians should take pride in themselves as they were able to survive such difficult times.

The film took place during the Khmer Rouge regime based on the personal experience of Loung Ung, a human rights activist from Cambodia. More than 2 million were killed including Ung's own father, mother, and sisters.

Jolie said that she had to tell this story because it was completely misunderstood by the world. Along with Angelina Jolie's interview, survivors of the Khmer Rouge were also featured by BBC. She asked Cambodians to be proud of their culture, resiliency and the beauty and love that they have for their family. The "Maleficent" star's son Maddox, who is Cambodian-born, helped her produce the film. All her six children came to Cambodia for the movie premiere.

As she promoted her movie, Angelina Jolie also worked with Guerlain as the new face of their sweet scent Mon Guerlain. Her new commercial "Notes of a Woman" was recently aired and it showed a happy, healthy and beautiful Angelina floating along the French countryside, reported News.com.au. There were many scenes in the commercial but one of the most striking was the actress in looking out the window in a relaxed manner. She seemed to have taken her divorce worries behind her as she smiled for the camera while flowing soft white curtains frame her.

Angelina Jolie was once reported to be looking for an image consultant to save her from her rocky split and allegedly damaged public image as she revealed details of her divorce for the public to feast on. With things going her way lately, she may have found the best help.
