Apple has always been extra enthusiastic with its beta updates for any of its device lineup. The company is now developing the similar kind of knack for its MacOS Sierra too. Recently, the tech giant launched its seventh beta for its MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 and just after a week from that, Apple now unveiled the eight beta program for the same OS segment. The company launched the MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 just two months before from now. The eighth beta update of MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 was evolved to developers and public beta testers.

According to Softpedia, the beta update is now available for download from the Apple Developers Centre. It can be seen as tagged with build 16E192b if one has an Apple Developer account. It can be downloaded and installed using the Sierra Developer Beta Access utility too. Moreover, the users and public beta testers who have earlier installed any of the existing beta programs can now upgrade to the 8th beta just by utilising the traditional software update mechanism from Mac App Store.

As per a report by Macrumors, the major development which can be taken into consideration with this 8th beta for MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 is the update of Night Shift. The amazing attribute is basically a display utility which turns the screen yellow from blue in the hours of the night, by ranging down the exposure of blue light. Blue ray is said to disrupt the circadian rhythm and is further believed to interrupt sleeping patterns. The Night Shift can be accessed through the Displays section in system preferences.

Night Shift can be set manually through the Notification centre or by using Apple's helping agent Siri. It can also be accessed automatically by accessing a setup panel which allows the mode to be activated when the sun sets and also deactivate itself when the sun rises. Alongside this, the beta has also evolved some other kinds of stuff like improved PDFKit APIs, dictation support for Shanghainese, cricket scores for Siri and iCloud Analytics options.
