Zayn Malik opened up about his history in battling anxiety, revealing he has had numerous panic attacks before that would sometimes prevent him from getting on stage. But in a recent interview, Zayn said he has been feeling pretty well as of late and hasn't been dealing with panic attacks or anxiety.

According to Teen Vogue, Zayne also admitted that most of his anxiety struggles occurred while he was still in One Direction. While he is no longer having anxiety or panic attacks, Zayn thinks that being honest about his mental health, to go along with a very restrictive eating behavior may have helped lower down some stigma around those said issues.

"People didn't seem to expect it coming from a guy since they mostly expect it from a female, which to me is crazy," Zayn said. He added that "we're all humans," where people are often scared to admit that they are experiencing difficulties.

Zayn closed his statement by stating that he doesn't believe that there should be any struggle with anything that is the truth. Many fans praised Zayn, saying that his remark is totally right.

According to Gossip Bucket, many experts believe that Zayn speaking out about his mental health and eating disorder was very much helpful towards his recovery. They claim that just by being honest about his issues and putting it out in the open, Zayn makes a legitimate point that other people might have found some much-needed strength in his honesty.

Zayn's fans are glad to hear that the singer is feeling better. Many experts believe that when it comes to mental health, it is very important to figure out the best way for you to manage how you feel in order for you to be healthy and happy; whether it be therapy, medication, or just some quality time with your family or loved ones that get you there.
