Xiaomi Redmi users are clearly impressed with the Redmi series since its release on August 2014 for Redmi 1S in India. A smartphone with smooth curved edge and metal-looking in a polycarbonate casing, the Redmi series is cheaper at less than Rs. 10,000. Now, that the latest Redmi 4A has been released, smartphone users and buyers went crazy on its first day, earning a record-breaking number of units sold.

According to reports from NDTV, the first day of Xiaomi's Redmi 4A in India has earned 250,000 units sold in just 4 minutes thru online in Amazon India and Mi.com, making it the fastest smartphone sale ever on its launching day. At the stroke of 12 p.m. IST on Thursday, consumers were piling up to order the latest unit of Xiaomi's Redmi series, with 1,500 orders per second and 5 million hits per minute. Everybody's talking about it as the online shop reported that it received 1 million 'notify me' alerts from customers.

With the trend that happened on Thursday, Noor Patel of Amazon India has expressed his amazement on the possibility of a good business for smartphone distribution. Based on reports from Gizbot, Patel commits to attract their customers in Amazon by bringing in a wide range of smartphones to choose from. While Raghu Reddy of Xiaomi India tells how Redmi 4A is the most affordable smartphone and the best of its kind within its price range.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer will not disappoint those who will buy Redmi 4A with its features such as VoLTE and a 13-megapixel rear camera even on its cheap price. The phone has a 5.0-inch screen, easy to hold, has a smooth, metallic feel but matted at the rear panel for better grip. It is also lighter at 132 grams making it the lightest of the Redmi series with a non-removable 3120mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver seven days of standby time.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage expandable up to 128 GB. It works along MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for a price of Rs. 5,999, the catch is its affordable price.
