"Bates Motel" 'Dreams Die First' aired last week and it was about a deeper look into the mind of Norman Bates as he goes about his life without his beloved mother Norma. The season 5 episode 5 of the A&E series featured Norman as his usual messed up self the morning after his date with Madeline. Norman also met a significant person in his life, Dr. Edwards, in a bar where he picked up his car. This encounter further revealed a darker side of Norman and reports show that his dangerous side will continue until the next "Bates Motel" episode entitled "Marion."

"Bates Motel" 'Dreams Die First' showed a Norman desperate for his mother that he starts to become her in many instances, Spoiler TV revealed. Freddie Highmore has perfectly depicted Norman's character as he goes from claiming he is OK to spilling his beans to his doctor he met in a bar. Norman woke up that day with cuts and bruises and had no idea where he got these marks. He considered that his mother knew about this; he has been known to blame Norma for many of his unfortunate events.

Norman's brief encounter with Dr. Edwards was also one of Highmore's acclaimed scenes in "Bates Motel" 'Dreams Die First'. Norman was confronted with the presence of Dr. Edwards in the bar and that immediately had no hesitation in telling him that he becomes his mother. And because of this confession, Norman suddenly remembered that he was at the bar last night but not as himself but as Norma hooking up with a stranger. There are also reports that Norman may have undefined sexuality in the series and may also have feelings for Romero.

After "Bates Motel" 'Dreams Die First', is the much-awaited Season 5 Episode 6 "Marion" which is all about Rihanna as Marion Crane. Gold Derby reported that Rihanna's debut performance will surely be according to the classic shower scene and many are already anticipating a fantastic performance from the songstress. Around 46% of viewers who have watched Rihanna during the final scenes of "Dreams Die First" say that she was born for the role while 12% said that they were unimpressed.

Rihanna in "Bates Motel" 'Dreams Die First' was just a taste of what she has to offer as Marion Crane. She will reprise her role as the shower victim in "Marion" on March 27, Monday, 10 p.m. on A&E.
