The smartphone game is getting increasingly competitive. Mobile handsets are improving by the day, thanks to their Chinese smartphone manufacturers. Among these Chinese brands are HTC and Samsung and their respective HTC 11 and Samsung Note 8 flagship smartphones that pose direct competition to each other in the market.

Comparing the two allows one to decide which one suits them and their choices the best. HTC 11 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are both going to fight in high-end Android Smartphone market. 

HTC 11 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are both said to feature cutting-edge specs. As per the reports,  HTC 11 is expected to sport Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 836 SoC along with  8GB of RAM. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S8 might mark Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 MSM8998 along with 8GB of RAM. While the former runs on Android 7.1.2 which is based on HTC Sense 9.0, the latter runs on Android v7.0 Nougat, which is comparatively older than what HTC is offering. HTC 11 might have a waterproof body, reports Stuff magazine.

Rumors talk about the display sizes and camera of the two smartphones. While the HTC 11 device features a 5.5-inch (1556 x 2550 pixels) 543 PPI density display, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 5.7-inch (2160 x 3840 pixels) 773 PPI density display. While, the former flaunts a dual-camera setup - which certainly is a great feature, with dual 12MP rear cameras along with an 8MP front snapper, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 packs a great 30MP rear camera along with an 8MP front camera. According to PCAdvisor, Note 8 might also feature Harmon Kardon speakers.

The HTC 11 smartphone is powered by a 3,700mAh Li-Ion battery, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 packs a great 4,000mAh battery.
