One of the most confusing scenes from the much-anticipated "Power Rangers" movie was the mid-credit scene. Herein, Tommy who is known to the fans as the Green Ranger was seen bolting from detention, leaving the other Rangers behind. These Rangers saved the world from Rita Repulsa played by Elizabeth Banks who was in constant struggle with Bryan Cranston's Zordon.

According to a report published by EW, Tommy's character is believed to be working as a henchman for Rita Repulsa in the past. However, with time he had managed to free himself from her control. This is when he came across the original "Power Rangers" and then decided to join them as the White Ranger. There is not much backstory into this character. No actor has been finalized as the kind who will play Tommy. There is no one to voice him off-screen either.

The scene merely showcases an empty desk with the green jacket lying on top. The detention supervisor is seen calling Tommy's name out with no response. After this, the scene smoothly shifts to a deserted school hallway followed by an explosion.

There aren't too many hints dropped by the director. So it's clear that he planned on leaving it to the audiences to understand the backstory of Green Ranger in the "Power Rangers" movie.

Separately, another report published by GQ suggests that the soundtrack to "Power Rangers" movie will be impeccable and will travel back in time. The reboot version is seen as a perfect chance to spin.

With songs like 'Go Go Power Rangers' by The "Power Rangers" Orchestra and 'Higher Ground' by Red Hot Chilli Peppers is something that suits perfectly with the movie. The movie seemed to have done well with the audience. Whether there will be sequel or not is yet to be confirmed.
