Google launched the developer preview of Android Nougat 7.0 sometime in March last year, just ahead of its I/O conference. It appears like the company plans on continuing the tradition this year as well. Google recently launched the first developer preview to its upcoming Android O. Along with this announcement, Google also further revealed all the features that the Android users can expect the same.

According to a report published by The Verge, Google for the second time in a row is making a developer preview of its latest version of operating system. The first one being launched recently, users are allowed to test it. Either way, there isn't much that we know about it anyway. However, thanks to the repeated leaks and rumors, we are able to enjoy our share of anticipation.

As reported by Droid Report, Google's latest Android O operating system is specially designed with the aim to improve the battery life of the respective device. Moreover, the system will also reportedly make multitasking for Android, an easy task to perform.

Separately, the company also revealed that one of their major priorities with the upcoming operating system to ensure the device-interactive performance for any smartphone remains smooth as far as Android O is kept installed. The company also appears to have added other unexpected limits. This, they did with the intention to prevent unnecessary applications from running in the background as these usually have the tendency to consume most of the charge out of a device's battery.

It's quite natural that Android O will come packed with way better features than the present-day Android Nougat 7.0 OS. The second developer preview will be out sometime in April with the third one reported to come sometime May or June. However, none of the above-given information has been confirmed by the company yet.
