Another property of Sony will be coming into Marvel Cinematic Universe. With just months away before "Spider-Man Homecoming" will hit the theaters Sony still have the rights to Spidey's entire rogue's gallery, which indeed the neighborhood of 900 marvel characters. Sony thinks of putting the character into good use and starts off with the "Venom" movie next year and hinted it will be an R-rated movie.

Sony is going to use the "Venom" as a springboard in creating their own series. The movie is going to be R-rated and Sony will do everything and is going to capitalize their Marvel character on the big screen. Though many in the development movies are said to be connected in "Venom" but they aren't.

The Black Cat and Silver Sable movies have nothing to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "Life" is not a prequel to Sony's R-rated "Venom" movie and Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios claimed also claimed has nothing to do with these movies. Sony appointed Tom Rothman to be the man in charge of this whole new Marvel movie universe, Digital Trends has reported.

According to the report, a lot of changes are set to come in "Venom" movie when released in 2018, so, the decision of acquiring the other characters may consider. But the critic fans of the comics might wonder why Black Cat is in the movie and Spider-Man isn't. Though there is definitely an issue on this movie works as it all connected to Spider-Man.

"Venom" movie is expected to release next year, October 5, 2018, and have a script from Dante Harper who also works for the upcoming "Alien: Covenant." Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach will produce the film but the director's chair is still vacant. Screen Rant reported that Adi Shankar is possible to direct the movie.

Adi Shanker is on the number spot on the short list of possible directors of "Venom" movie. For his fans especially those who have watched the "Dredd" are all excited upon knowing. Meanwhile, the production will start to shoot this fall for a genre of horror and Sci-Fi.
