After years of effort on licensing third parties to create enormous and expensive statues and replicas based on its hit video game properties, Blizzard is on the verge of taking high-end collectibles in a house. According to reports, Blizzard Collectibles will kick off with an array of already-existing pieces, joined by one of a rendition of "Overwatch's" very own Widowmaker.

Blizzard has already done statues for both Reaper and Tracer and up next is the spidery sniper, Widowmaker. According to Destructoid, pre-orders are already open for the 13.5-inch "Overwatch" statue ahead of a planned 3rd quarter 2017 shipping date.

The replica of Overwatch Widowmaker is not that cheap, but at $150, many "Overwatch" fans are considering it not quite the wallet destroyer that everyone was expecting. For "Overwatch" fans out there, it is indeed an amazing statue to have and show off with.

As for the earlier statues of both Reaper and Tracer, they will now fall under the same branding umbrella. According to Blizzard, every existing product in the Blizzard Collectibles line are going to be open editions and will also be available alongside other Collectibles like Overwatch Widowmaker.

As of this announcement, Blizzard has made the decision to 'vault' the Grommash statue. According to Kotaku, products that are 'vaulted' like Overwatch Widowmaker are either out of stock, or is currently not being manufactured, but may return to in the future supplies.

Until Blizzard decides to vault a product, fans can expect that it is going to be restocked very much soon. In both cases, the product page for sold out products will also state whether the product has been vaulted or not, or just temporarily out of stock like Overwatch Widowmaker.

Blizzard closes out their statement by saying that as soon as the company has a firm date, it will immediately share that date on the product page. As of now, fans are already having someone in mind for who they'd like to be selected, much like Overwatch Widowmaker, for the next statue collectible.
