When it comes to the desktop, Apple decided to invest a new way to innovative, which does not need to revolve around making things and be more tightly integrated. Rumors claim that the new upcoming desktop dubbed iMac Pro will be launch later this year.

According to BGR, Apple did not say anything about the speculations of iMac Pro but in a recent published of the Apple patents, it stated that the company is planning to carry Touch Bar that was introduced last year. Rumors said that iMac Pro is in the current form of mid to high-end quad-core desktop.

In addition, iMac Pro will be empowered by Intel, Nvidia, and AMD that made it impossible to fit in inside iMac Pro case. The processors that will be found inside iMac Pro is Intel Xeon E3 processors though Apple has not been released its specific chip, rumors claim that it will be integrated with Intel HD Graphics 360.

TechAdvisor added that iMac Pro will have a 21-inch with a 32Gb of Ram and a 2TB Fusion Drive. What is more exciting is that Apple will once again turn to AMD for its graphic solution with Polaris 10 as a prime candidate.

Another report has been claimed that Apple will start removing the 5.25-inch optical drive and an internal 3.5-inch drive to make iMac Pro more spacious. The remove drive bays will be replaced by an external USB or Thunderbolt attached accessories with small SSD cards that Apple has been using since 2013 in Mac Pros.

Apple will also max out the old sockets into 12 cores, a 16GB to 64GB of ECC RAM will also be in line with the upcoming iMac Pro. It is incredibly powerful inside were all the major components is found inside the single device, which will give a sufficiently powerful iMac Pro to replace the Mac Pro.
