Khloe Kardashian is facing criticism after sharing a controversial photo on Instagram of her and her rumored boyfriend, rapper French Montana, posing with alcohol and a gun.

In the photo, which was posted on June 2, the 29-year-old reality star is seen drinking champagne out of a bottle while the 29-year-old hip-hop artist is posing with a machine gun.

"About to go gucci maaannnnnn. #MovieSet #JustDifferent @frenchmontana," she wrote as a caption.

Likewise, Montana also posted the photo on his account, along with the caption "#bangbang."

According to the New York Daily News, the firearm was actually a prop and the photo was taken while Kardashian was on set of Montana's new music video in the Miami area.

Nevertheless, the TV personality received a storm of backlash for posting the pic from fans who thought that she should serve as a better role model.

"You are a role model!! Alcohol and guns DO NOT MIX," wrote one fan, while another urged her to "stay away from that!!!"

Kardashian appeared to respond to her critics by posting a Bruce Lee quote to Instagram a few hours later that read: "For it is easy to criticize and break down the spirit of others, but to know yourself takes a lifetime."

Rumors that the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian's" star is dating the rapper began to swirl after they were spotted hanging out in a couple of states together early in April.

In May, the Moroccan-born rapper shared a photo of himself hanging out with Kardashian's mother/manager, Kris Jenner.

Jenner posted a picture on her Instagram account on Wednesday, May 7, with the message "I love you papi," in reference to Montana's verse on Jennifer Lopez's new song "I Luh Ya Papi."

The New York City-based rap star then shared a screenshot of Jenner's photo and posted it on his Instagram page with the caption, "I love you Mami @KrisJenner."
