Angelique Boyer's mother has been hospitalized, and the "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" actress is asking fans for their help.

Dona En Vida tweeted about Boyer's mother, Sylvie Rousseau, needing O positive blood. Boyer retweeted the message and told her followers that she would update them whenever something was necessary.

Before talking about her mother, Boyer had shared images of herself on the set of her hit show. After she retweeted the message, fans wished her mother a good recovery and helped to spread the word. People were even ready to donate blood.

Boyer has yet to post another update about her mother's health, but Rousseau's health issues have been in the news the past year, TV Y Novelas noted. Ten months ago, Rousseau had a heart operation, and in February, she suffered a relapse. She was supposed to have surgery, but when doctors detected emphysema, they opted against it.

Along the way, Boyer has been very attentive to her mother, taking her to appointments.

Rousseau has previously opened up about her heart.

"I have a problem with my heart. There are four heart murmurs that I possibly got from birth," she said. "They were going to do a high-risk operation, which would have caused a heart attack to clear the arteries that were inflaming the wall of my heart. In addition, they found a respiratory deficiency. I have emphysema after being a smoker. After a test, it was discovered that I have respiratory problem, and at the time of operation, it become too great a risk. I don't have strength in my lungs, but the doctors say that if I maintain a balanced diet and leave behind the filthy cigarettes, I can live well."

Boyer previously didn't speak to her parents, according to reports. They didn't approve of her past relationship.
