Boxing legend Mike Tyson was all smiles when he greeted his fans in Florida after he was recorded punching a man who allegedly harassed him while he was on the plane.

In a video recorded by TMZ Sports, Tyson was seen getting out of his van when he arrived at the Eden Roc Miami Hotel on Thursday. Tyson's assistant asked the person taking the video to stay away from the boxing legend.

Moments later, the footage showed fans approaching the boxing legend asking him for pictures. At one point, the reporter asked Tyson for a message to his fans, but the boxer did not give an answer.

TMZ Sports noted that Tyson was in Miami, Florida on Thursday for a cannabis conference.

Mike Tyson Turns Violent on Jet Blue Flight

Mike Tyson was seen on Thursday, a day after he turned violent toward a fan who reportedly harassed him while he was on the plane to Miami, Florida.

According to CBS Sports, Tyson threw punches at a man who sat behind him on the plane. Citing reports, CBS Sports also added that the incident involving Tyson and the unnamed man occurred around 10:30 p.m.

In the video acquired by TMZ Sports, Tyson was seen pummeling the man from his chair while another man was trying to stop the boxing legend.

The San Francisco Police Department reported that cops responded to the scene and detained two people they believed were involved in the incident. TMZ Sports noted that the fan was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

However, the authorities claimed that the fan who was injured following the encounter did not want to cooperate with the investigation.

Reports noted that the two individuals were later released by the authorities.

Despite what happened, Marca noted that Tyson was arrested for what happened. He is also expected to have a public appearance in Florida on Thursday.

Mike Tyson Was Harassed by the Fan

SBC Sports quoted a passenger and a witness to the incident, claiming that Tyson was not mad at first when he was approached by the fan at first. However, the witness noted that things became different after the boxing legend took a selfie with him because the man reportedly kept trying to speak to the athlete.

The witness also said that Tyson told the fan to stop talking to him, but the man did not adhere to the boxer's request.

Tyson's spokesperson confirmed that incident during his flight, claiming that Tyson became violent because of the fan.

"Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat," the spokesperson told ESPN, per CBS Sports.

The spokesperson also pointed out that the boxer was extremely intoxicated during that time and that he would not stop provoking Mike Tyson while he was in his seat.
