Rumors about the iPad 5 tablet from tech giant Apple have been endlessly circulating the web for months now. From leaked photos to brief videos of the iPad 5, here is a compilation of the most recent iPad 5 rumors.

Earlier this month, Sonny Dickson revealed a short video of Apple's full sized tablet. According to him, the iPad casing shown in the video seems similar to the iPad 5's predecessor. The only difference is the iPad Mini-like aluminum rear cover. Watch the video below.

French site NoWhereElse has also recently leaked photos of what seemed to be the rear casing of the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2. The rear covers came in silver bearing the Apple logo in the center. Check out the photos of the rumored iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 rear cover HERE.

iPad 5 rumors are also buzzing about its features. The new iPad 5 is rumored to come with a fingerprint sensor, says International Digital Times. The report cites a previous iOS 7 report which suggests that the software could make print-sensing technologies available to most of Apple's devices in the future. If this iPad 5 rumor is true, the home button lock and lock screen might go through serious modifications.

Though earlier reports suggest that the iPad 5 will be made available by October, recent reports are pointing to a Sept. 10 release. According to Stabley Times, the iPad 5 is likely due for a September release given that iOS 7 sticks to the rumored August release.

Both iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 are less likely to be released before iOS 7. Experts are also sure that Apple's full-sized tablet will be released first. The early release of iPad 5 will establish the new iOS 7-powered tablet. An earlier release of the iPad 5 will also gain traction for the later release of the 2nd generation mini version of the tablet.
