One of Johnny Depp's security guards took the stand in the actor's defamation trial against Amber Heard Thursday and discussed the poop found in the former couple's bed.

Starling Jenkins, a member of Depp's security team, told the jury in a Fairfax, Virginia court that Heard took responsibility for the poop in her shared bed with Depp the night after an explosive fight, Insider reported.

It can be recalled that Depp and Heard had an explosive fight on the night of April 21, 2016 in one of their shared penthouse apartments in Los Angeles, following a dinner party for the actress' 30th birthday.

The argument reportedly stemmed from the actor being late to the dinner despite texting her that she would be late. In his trial testimony last Wednesday, Depp said he was late to the party because of a meeting with his financial advisors.

He said his accountants and business manager told him that an "inordinate amount of money was gone" from his accounts. The actor noted that he was shocked to learn that he was in worst financial shape than he believed after 30 years of working in the industry.

After the dinner, Depp said the actress flew into a "verbal barrage," but he did not engage with her. When she punched him in the face repeatedly, the actor noted that she grabbed Heard's shoulders, sat her down on the bed, told her he was leaving and asked her not to follow him.

The next day, a housekeeper found fecal matter on Depp's side of their shared bed. At that time, Jenkins said he accompanied Heard on the Coachella trip. He said he fetched Heard's luggage and two dogs before he, the actress, her sister, and her friend left for the music festival.

Jenkins noted that Heard talked to him about a "surprise" she left in his boss' bed, which he referred to as "the defecation." He said Heard described it as "a horrible practical joke gone wrong." According to Depp, Heard blamed the poop on her two dogs.

Johnny Depp Says Amber Heard's Explanation on Poop Was 'Ridiculous'

During Johnny Depp's testimony, the actor called his ex-wife's explanation about the fecal matter "ridiculous." Depp said he did not believe that Heard's dogs, Pistol and Boo, pooped on their bed.

"She [Heard] brought up the fecal matter on the bed. She tried to blame it on the dogs... they're teacup Yorkies. They weigh about 4 pounds each," the actor noted.

He later added that he lived with those dogs and "picked up their funk" and "it was not the dogs." According to Depp, he learned about the poop in their bed from his bodyguard Sean Bett. The actor said Bett showed him a photograph sent by his housekeeper.

"It was a photograph of our bed... and on my side of the bed was a human fecal matter," Depp noted.

According to Insider, the source of the bed poop also came up in the 2020 high-profile case of Depp against a British newspaper at the High Court in London. The actor sued "The Sun" and its executive editor Dan Wootton after he was labeled as a "wife-beater" in the paper's 2018 headline.

The actor lost the case. The judge ruled that it was unlikely the actress or one of her friends pooped on the bed since "it was Ms. Heard who was likely to suffer from the feces on the bed" and not Depp.

The judge added that there was also evidence that Heard's dog, Boo, "had an incomplete mastery of her bowels after she had accidentally consumed some marijuana."

Elon Musk Not Testifying in Johnny Depp-Amber Heard Trial

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are now battling over a 2018 op-ed the actress wrote for the Washington Post, calling herself a domestic violence survivor.

The piece did not mention Depp by name, but the actor claimed he was booted from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise due to the "clear implication" that he was the abuser in his ex-wife's op-ed.

Depp further alleged that Heard was the actual "perpetrator" of the violent encounters that damaged their relationship. He is asking for $50 million in damages. On the other hand, Heard has filed a $100 million counterclaim against the actor, who she divorced in 2017, for nuisance.

Elon Musk was included in the actress' list of 80 possible witnesses she plans to call upon to back up her story of being beaten and abused by her ex-husband. However, Musk's attorney Alex Spiro told NBC News Wednesday that the Tesla CEO "will not be testifying."

Depp's lawyers have accused Heard of having an extra-marital affair with Musk. But in a 2020 statement, Heard said she did not have any "illicit relationships," and she was not in touch with the SpaceX founder until the following year.

Musk echoed what Heard claimed and said they started going out about a month after the actress' divorce filing.

On Thursday, American Civil Liberties Union's general counsel Terence Dougherty testified that Musk appeared to have chipped in at least $500,000 to his ex-girlfriend's donation to the organization, New York Post reported.

According to Dougherty, Heard never made good on her $3.5 million pledged to the group as she only paid $350,000.

The rest of the $1.3 million reportedly came from Johnny Depp, who gave over $100,000, and a donor he believed was the Tesla CEO. Dougherty noted that at least $500,000 came from Musk.

Meanwhile, The Post confirmed this week that James Franco would also not be testifying in the defamation trial. The actor was also included in Heard's list of possible witnesses she plans to call upon.

Depp's lawyers also accused Heard of having an affair with Franco while still married to Depp. But the "Aquaman" actress also denied this claim.
