Mike Tyson Will Not Be Charged Over Airplane Attack

Another good news was in Tyson's way this week after a California district attorney announced that he would not face criminal charges following the airplane attack involving him and a passenger, per TMZ Sports.

The charges were withdrawn because of the conduct of the victim leading up to the incident, the interaction between Tyson and the victim, and the request of both the victim and the boxer.

Representatives for Tyson alleged that the ma threw a water bottle at him and annoyed him repeatedly before he was attacked by the boxer while inside the plane. However, the attorney of the victim argued that no bottle was thrown and blamed the incident on his client being "overly excited."

Mike Tyson's attorneys then thanked San Mateo District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe, the San Mateo County Sheriff, and other authorities for their diligent work that led the boxer to be free from his charges.
